Now working on page 94. Have a great Solstice, Holiday of your persuasion, and fantastic New Year!

P.S. – It’s four years since the Deepwater Horizon disaster in the Gulf of Mexico and Louisiana is still cleaning up – 4.6 million pounds of oil just this year! Folks are still picking through tar balls on the tide line and who knows what else is going on. Maybe it’s time to give alternative energy a chance?
Been working on a full page for The Big Belch with Harold Zinn at his lab. Should be done soon.
Will a major oil company’s greed and foolishness spawn an environmental disaster so serious it could threaten the earth itself? And can this horror be foiled by a most unusual team: two baby boomers, a parrot and a French bulldog, who take on this oil company to save the world? That’s the plot of my new graphic novel, The Big Belch.
It’s been quite an effort to get this project ready. I hope you will take a look at my Big Belch Kickstarter project. It’s an environmental protest that might actually give you a laugh too. How often does that happen?
Good heavens I actually got to do a bit of drawing for The Big Belch today. Last time was mid-July I think.
If I follow this less tight way, I may get the graphic novel done some time this century. Yahoooo.
I optimistically called this new movie “I’m Back.” The way life goes who knows for how long. I sure don’t know. The only thing I can be sure about is something will crop up. It always does. But for now I get to draw. Yes!
The panels I’m back to working on – page 4 – yes, I know STILL on page 4… Let’s start over here.
I’m changing the panels layout from what I thought last time I took a look at “The Big Belch” graphic novel. Position changes in one for Maureen and Monty and Lorinda. In the other panel, I’m focusing in on Francois, romantic French bulldog, Sugar, his borzoi sweetie, and Fletcher, cranky pants parrot.
