Still drawin’ The Big Belch graphic novel. Working on page 81 today, and mighty glad to be doing so! I’ve been suffering a computer glitch nightmare for about a month or so. Gaaaaa! Fingers crossed that this latest attempt at a fix works.

Think the idea of a methane explosion is far fetched?

Hey, think the idea of a methane explosion is far fetched? The permafrost in Siberia is leaking huge quantities right now and it’s really ratcheted up recently. YouTube videos of snow flaming up are impressive.

Just today I saw an article in the LA Times that methane coming up from the ocean in Santa Monica Bay created such a stench that the fire department started getting a ton of calls. And don’t forget those peat bogs.

We clearly need more parrots and French bulldogs to save the day!
