Multitasking Bees

Standard

I think even bees are multi-tasking these days. I’ve had several near misses with bees racing madly to get that nectar recently – more than I remember in past summers.

Today I was struck with a decided thump and angry buzzing on the side of my head. It zoomed off seeming to hardly notice.

It may be just me, but this buzzy bee made me think of several encounters with people of late. Everyone is so tuned into their various devices that they sure don’t watch where they’re going or what’s around them. They buzz angrily at whomever gets in their way and buzz off.

By the way, it’s cooled off a bit. It’s “only” going up to 90º today. Who would have thunk that 90º was a cold front?

Oh and I did get some drawing in yesterday and this a.m.
