Think the idea of a methane explosion is far fetched?

Standard

Hey, think the idea of a methane explosion is far fetched? The permafrost in Siberia is leaking huge quantities right now and it’s really ratcheted up recently. YouTube videos of snow flaming up are impressive.

Just today I saw an article in the LA Times that methane coming up from the ocean in Santa Monica Bay created such a stench that the fire department started getting a ton of calls. And don’t forget those peat bogs.

We clearly need more parrots and French bulldogs to save the day!

Two baby boomers, a parrot, and a French bulldog save the world

Will a major oil company’s greed and foolishness spawn an environmental disaster so serious it could threaten the earth itself? And can this horror be foiled by a most unusual team: two baby boomers, a parrot and a French bulldog, who take on this oil company to save the world? That’s the plot of my new graphic novel, The Big Belch.

It’s been quite an effort to get this project ready. I hope you will take a look at my Big Belch Kickstarter project. It’s an environmental protest that might actually give you a laugh too. How often does that happen?

It ain’t nearly enough

Standard

Hey did you hear that BP has been found criminally liable for the 2010 Deepwater Horizon disaster that killed 11 workers and will pay $4.5 billion in fines. It’s not nearly enough.
